Often, patients come to Peter Revenaugh and say they just look more tired than they really feel. Or they say they look older than they feel right now.
As the director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush, Dr. Revenaugh knows that an aesthetic procedure (even just a small one) can help patients face the world with a refreshed feeling. But before he starts discussing options, he listens to what his patient wants during their initial consultation.
What are their goals? What are their objectives? What are their expectations? Knowing these answers helps Dr. Revenaugh and his patient come up with a treatment plan that fits their unique needs.
Dr. Revenaugh has extensive training and experience with rhinoplasty, aging face procedures and minimally invasive procedures for the face and skin. In addition, he specializes in reconstructive procedures for facial skin cancer, head and neck cancer, and facial paralysis.
He is also committed to education and advancing the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He trains residents and fellows in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery techniques. Traveling to more than 50 countries, he’s lectured and shared his techniques and results with colleagues from around the world. And he’s written numerous scientific articles and book chapters on facial plastic surgery.
